Here’s some great additions to the photo challenge since I was in New Orleans yesterday!

I won’t deny that I’m not the most computer savvy individual when it comes to creating my own webpage.  For me it’s a lot of hit or miss experiences.  Well today you will notice how all of my blogs are now improved as a result of adding widgets!  I stumbled upon the area of how to incorporate widgets simply by mistake!  Now I see why some blogs look so put together! I am loving widgets!  I don’t have it all down pat just yet and pingbacks still confuse the heck out of me, but at least my blogs look more cohesive now!  Anyway I know this isn’t my usual type of post, so I won’t bore you with my new love of computer technology.  If anyone is at all capable of understanding how to use pingbacks to respond to prompts from another site I would be eternally grateful as to how to go about pinging a post to another post! 🙂  I promise no more boring posts after this! If you have been stuck on widgets, plugins, and pingbacks too below are some helpful articles.  If  you’ve read all the way through this post well then you deserve a reward in the form of some beautiful photography!  Hope you enjoyed the capture of the sun bursting through the clouds I took today!

What Is It?

Photo Challenge-Habit

Every morning, I enjoy photographing the sun. The magnificence of the rays shooting from its center create such beauty to behold!

Looking Handsome!

Sky Art

Sky Art

The blue sky is pierced by seven colors
arching through cotton-white clouds
resulting in a kaleidoscopic affect
splintering color in all directions.

Vibrant tones reminiscent of a child’s new box of crayons;
freshly opened; each color unaffected.
Rainbows are amazing to behold;
true feasts for the eyes.
Its arc rising strong and true,
no imperfections revealed; its colorful surface unmarred.
Essence unable to be captured; beauty impossible to emulate;
as its colors fade effortlessly; creating a spectrum of red through purple for display;
hues blending seamlessly, never crossing the color boundaries.

Where do they come from, these magnificent gifts of the sky?
They are nature’s own works of art,
displayed to a world of connoisseurs;
marveling at this prism of light;
reflected on an endless canvas above!

Fall Breeze

ImageWalking among the tall green grass,

A light breeze blows swiftly past.

Stirring the leaves on trees nearby,

Blowing the clouds in the bright blue sky.

Signs of fall start to arrive,

Making the world appear more alive!

Crisp weather creates a chill in the air,

Shining sun rays cause you to squint from their glare.

Leaves on trees lose their hue of green,

Seasons shift quickly, like a movie changing scenes.

Butterflies of summer fly off and disappear,

Knowing full well another season draws near.

These changes in nature, as a new season calls,

Comprise all the wonders that exemplify fall!
