I was recently staying at a beautiful hotel and couldn’t resist snapping a photograph of this fabulous chandelier in the lobby! The unusual shape and the fact that it’s made up of many small circular lights to create this one large chandelier’s shape was intriguing to me.  Each individual circle of light acted as a miniature prism, sending light so bright, the entire lobby was lit!  I loved the unique look of this chandelier, reminding me of an upside down candy kiss!

Life’s Next Year!

image

Secrets of the Future
The glowing sun sets,
another year draws to a close.
Future dreams call seductively,
tempting in their promise of secrets undiscovered.
Tantalizing knowledge unbeknownst at this juncture of time,
mysteries untold, foreshadowing the years ahead.
Leading a life, uncertain at times,
wishing I knew what was to come to pass.
Eyes squeezed shut, creating my wish,
desiring happiness in the days ahead.
Optimistic regarding my place in this world,
yearning to learn which path destiny  chooses.
Drawing a deep breath, preparing to extinquish,
the lone flame flickering from a sole candle.
Pausing briefly, reliving moments, flashing through my mind, consisting of  scenarios past .
Remembering lost loved ones,
recalling fond memories wistfully.
Opening my eyes, a smile playing across my lips,
extinguishing the bright flame, commencing life’s next year!

As the sun was setting a few nights ago, I was lucky enough to capture the magnificent shades it turned the sky. It looked like someone painted beautiful colors onto the sky above!  Colors this beautiful can never be emulated.  Only nature can create shades this wonderful! Sometimes I’m  just in awe of the world!

This Huge Dragonfly is watching you shop!

Upon entering a local store, I was thrilled and surprised to find this gigantic, coloful dragonfly hanging from the ceiling!  It’s sheer size was amazing!  I thought it was pretty neat that the store owners had hung it up for all their customers to enjoy.  I really love dragonflies, so seeing this unexpected enormous one truly made my day!

I won’t deny that I’m not the most computer savvy individual when it comes to creating my own webpage.  For me it’s a lot of hit or miss experiences.  Well today you will notice how all of my blogs are now improved as a result of adding widgets!  I stumbled upon the area of how to incorporate widgets simply by mistake!  Now I see why some blogs look so put together! I am loving widgets!  I don’t have it all down pat just yet and pingbacks still confuse the heck out of me, but at least my blogs look more cohesive now!  Anyway I know this isn’t my usual type of post, so I won’t bore you with my new love of computer technology.  If anyone is at all capable of understanding how to use pingbacks to respond to prompts from another site I would be eternally grateful as to how to go about pinging a post to another post! 🙂  I promise no more boring posts after this! If you have been stuck on widgets, plugins, and pingbacks too below are some helpful articles.  If  you’ve read all the way through this post well then you deserve a reward in the form of some beautiful photography!  Hope you enjoyed the capture of the sun bursting through the clouds I took today!
